Raegen Richard
Vice President, Firstrust Financial Resources
Growing up around a family-owned small business, I understood early that money is not an end in itself. It is a resource, and what matters is whether you are directing it toward something or simply watching it move. That understanding has been the backbone of everything I have done in this industry since.
I studied finance at Villanova University and spent nearly a decade at PNC working with private equity portfolio companies on complex lending relationships. That experience gave me a working knowledge of how serious capital actually moves, and what it takes to build and protect it over time. A subsequent chapter at Edward Jones deepened my commitment to long-term discipline and the kind of process-driven planning that holds up regardless of what markets are doing.
Today, I work with builders: people who are creating something that matters and who need a financial strategy that rises to meet that ambition. My job is to turn complexity into clarity. The structured process we follow, from discovery and analysis through implementation and ongoing review, is how I make good on that. What keeps me most engaged in this work is understanding not just what clients are building, but why, because that is where the most important planning decisions actually live.
Outside the office, I am involved with Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cherry Hill and Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, two communities that reflect the same principles I bring to my work: stewardship, accountability, and a long view. I live in Medford, New Jersey, with my wife, Anne, and our three children, and I stay active in the South Jersey community through clubs and organizations in Haddon Heights and Haddonfield. When I am not working, you will find me coaching youth sports, hunting, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, running trails, or on a golf course.
My personal mission is to be a faithful and valiant steward, advancing higher purposes and investing in future generations. It is not a tagline. It is the lens through which I approach every client relationship, every plan, and every decision I make.
