Lisa Barbieri

The work of a financial advisory office depends on more than the advisors in it. It depends on the people who keep everything running well enough that clients never have to think about whether it will. That is the role I take seriously in this office.

I grew up in Springfield, Pennsylvania, and studied Communication Studies at West Chester University, where I also focused on digital marketing. That combination has shaped how I approach my work: attentive to people, clear in how I communicate, and aware of how the details of someone's experience add up to an impression of the whole. I joined Firstrust Financial Resources because I wanted to be part of a team doing meaningful work, and the culture here matched that.

My responsibilities span recruiting and daily operations, two things that sound separate but are really the same job: making sure the right people are in place and that everything around them is working the way it should. When a client walks in or calls, I want their experience to be seamless from the first moment.

Outside the office, I live in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, where I spend my time exploring the city's food scene, hunting for finds at local thrift shops, and planning whatever trip is next. My cat, Poppy, supervises most of this from the couch.
